Health Center - Assistant Director of Nursing- FT

Experienced Assistant Director of Nursing needed to organize, manage, and direct nursing staff for our skilled nursing facility.  

Provide quality leadership and maintain a positive teamwork attitude in the department ensuring the highest quality of care to the residents.  Assist with recruitment, training, and retaining qualified staff.  Assist in establishing nursing policies and procedures.  

Must have excellent written, communication, organizational skills, and problem solving skills.   Five years experience preferably in a long term care setting, with two years in a supervisory position required, and must be currently licensed as an RN in the state of Florida.

Health Center - Chief Clinical Dietitian - FT

The ideal candidate must enjoy working with and relate well to senior adults. Assist the Director of Dining Services in maintaining high standards of nutritional care and meal service for all CCRC, Assisted Living, and Health Center residents.

Position requires 3 year experience in health care food service, a 4-year college degree. Must be a Registered Dietitian and maintain license by continuing education. Member of American Dietetic Association. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to deal in an effective and diplomatic manner with residents and staff. Computer literate.

Health Center - CNA - FT and PT

All shifts available must be a Certified Nursing Assistant by the State of Florida. One year experience preferred.

Responsible to provide quality hands-on care to all assigned residents, while assuring that their dignity and respect is maintained. The CNA assists residents with all day-to-day activities, such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meals. Maintains a neat and clean environment for residents. Must have the ability to work with co-workers to provide assistance to any resident in need.

Health Center - LPN - FT and PT

LPN administers resident medications and performs treatments as ordered by physician documenting all pertinent information. Assist the Unit Manager in maintain accurate and complete medical records for all residents assigned to the unit. Observes residents and reports significant changes to the physician and Unit Manager. LPN will supervise the nursing assistants and assists in orientation of all new employees to policies and procedures of the Health Center. Assists in general housekeeping and care of supplies and equipment to maintain a neat and orderly unit, other duties as assigned.

Must be licensed in the State of Florida and have two years of experience in long term care.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Health Center - Porter/Floor Specialist - FT/PT

Responsible for maintaining the appearance of our Health Center. We are seeking an individual who is committed to providing an excellent environment for our residents.

Must have hard surface/floor care experience. Minimum one year of stripping, scrubbing, and high speed polishing required. Must have excellent communication skills, be detailed oriented to work in a fast paced, Health Care Facility.

Health Center - RN-Supervisor - PT

Responsible for providing quality resident care on the assigned unit in our Health Center. Supervise employees assigned to the unit, oversee the maintenance of accurate and complete medical records for all residents assigned to the unit. Interacts with residents and their families to determine the needs of the residents. Observes and evaluate residents and work with nursing team, to ensure the resident’s needs are meet. Assist with the assignment of personnel, utilizing staff to care for residents in the most caring and professional manner. Works effectively with other departments to improve the quality of resident care.

Must have a current RN license in the State of Florida license and two years medical/surgical nursing experience in nursing home or a hospital, SNF experience preferred.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory experience required.

Human Resources - Safety Manager (FT)

Responsible for Workers’ Compensation, Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan, Hurricane Planning, fire, and safety programs including Senior Crime Stoppers for the Village.  In addition, reviews, evaluates and processes liability, property, crime, automobile, wind, flood and other insurance.  3+ Years professional experience.  Bachelors degree required.

Must be able to work in a self-directed manner with little or no supervision.  Must have excellent written, communication, and organizational skills.  Proficient with office technology including computers and internet.  Position requires 24/7 availability.

Experience preferred. Position requires attention to detail, patience, good follow up skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal and clear communication over two-way radio. Candidate must have the ability to interact courteously and effectively with co-workers, residents, and guests and the ability to deal with various situations, in a fast paced, large retirement community.
