Statement of Purpose

I. To establish Board policies, administrative procedures and systems that allow for the fulfillment of the organization’s mission and goals.

II. To employ a qualified staff, empowered with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to preserve Resident quality of life through the programs and services offered to Residents.

III. To enrich the greater community by drawing on our skills, talents, facilities and resources.

IV. To operate a financially responsible not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that complies with legislative, professional and regulatory guidelines.

Health & Wellness Philosophy

The philosophy of John Knox Village is to foster a health and wellness environment that allows Residents and employees to maximize their well being. John Knox Village recognizes the importance of addressing all our Resident’s needs through a holistic approach including physical, social, emotional, intellectual, nutritional and spiritual needs. Providing a full continuum of health care and preventative programs enhances Resident’s health, wellness, security and happiness. Dedicated, caring staff coordinates closely to encourage and support each Resident’s independence and dignity. John Knox Village seeks opportunities for outreach to promote its health and wellness philosophy in the greater community.
