As a Village resident, you will
receive a contract for lifetime life-care. This contract entitles you
to the right to occupy one of our independent living apartments or
villas. Should your needs change you have unlimited use of Gardens
West, our assisted living facility, and our highly rated skilled and
custodial care Health Center. Your entry fee assures you a lifetime of
life-care without any time limits on the services provided.
Among life-care communities, John
Knox Village has achieved a standard of excellence through
accreditation by The Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. The
Commission’s primary goal is to help consumers identify quality
retirement communities.
To become accredited, John Knox Village
had to undergo a rigorous and extensive self-examination. The Village
was measured against the stated mission and established standards of
excellence in the continuing care field. The examination included an
on-site evaluation by trained continuing care professionals of the
Village’s finances, administration, resident life and health
care. Every five years, since 1989, the Village has successfully
undergone the rigorous process for re-accreditation. As one of the
first communities to achieve accreditation in Florida, John Knox
Village is one of a select group of only thirty communities to be
